This is officially my first blog entry! I have threatening to do this for years now, and finally I have the necessary incentive to do so. I have learnt so much over the last 15 years working in the ITC industry, but it has always been to the advantage of my employer. Now the knowledge gained is for me and my future clients.
So from this moment on, I would like to share the experiences with people. While I have decided to work for myself, travel while doing so and sharing lessons along the way, I hope to inspire a couple of a people to do the same.
So onto the posting and enough about why, in recent times, I have made use of site (like kayak.com) to find the cheapest airfare around. While it has been working like a charm, I have found out that they tend not to show the cheaper airlines in their results. For example, you will not find AirAsia or EasyJet in any of their results. Whether this is because of kayak.com or the airlines themselves, who knows?
Alas, technology and human resources meet and a website flightfox.com was born. The opening line on the website states:
The Best Flights Every Time
From only $24 work with an army of experts to find the best flights.
I was a little sceptical, but after reading the Case Study, I have decided to give it a try for my flights coming up. Be sure to check the results of the experiment.
